Special Fasteners Engineering (SFE) is located in Kaohsiung Taiwan and specialises in manufacturing cold forged product in its two manufacturing facilities
SFE has been manufacturing in Taiwan since 1982 and was acquired by Trifast in 2001 as part of their expansion plans in Asia
SFE is different to our other manufacturing locations as it only sells directly to distributors, including the TR Group. It has an excellent record of service and quality within the fastener industry, and a high percentage of the product is destined for the automotive Industry, in particular for light vehicle. Areas of expertise are with products such as Marriage Bolts, Shoulder Bolts and safety critical parts, and high-volume Thread Forming Screws for both plastic and steel applications.
In addition, SFE produce product for other industry sectors, and therefore indirectly we supply to many global OEM’S.
SFE are fortunate to be in an area which is saturated with excellent subcontractors providing services such as heat treatment and the finishes that these sectors require.
