TR exhibiting at leading Swedish trade show, Elmia Subcontractor
Representatives from TR Sweden will be attending the country’s biggest manufacturing industry event at Jonkoping from 14th to 17th November. The Elmia Subcontractor show brings together manufacturing experts at all stages of the supply chain.
1,200 exhibitors are expected from more than 30 countries, creating a unique environment for forming new partnerships and valuable deals.
As a specialist trade exhibition for manufacturing suppliers and customers, Elmia caters for many niche sectors under the broad remit of the wider industry. This is the eleventh time TR has exhibited at Elmia and, following a successful show last year, the team did not hesitate in signing up for the 2017 event.
TR Sweden’s New Business & Development Manager Manoj Parmar commented: “Last year we made some fantastic connections at Elmia. We’re expecting more than 10,000 clients and suppliers to walk through the doors this year and we are already in touch with some of the other exhibitors. The show is generating more and more attention, both in Scandinavia and globally, and it’s becoming one of the key events in the exhibition calendar for us.”
Representatives from TR Sweden attended Sweden’s biggest industry event, Elmia Subcontractor, attracting many visitors to the TR stall and enjoying fruitful conversations about future business.
Elmia Subcontractor is well known as Sweden’s biggest industry fair and Northern Europe’s leading subcontracting trade show. Exhibitors from across the subcontracting industry attend the fair, and the focus is on networking, making introductions and sealing business deals. Exhibitors use their stands to showcase the latest products and innovations they have to offer, meaning the show is at the forefront of industry trends and developments.
This year’s event, held from 8-11 November in Jönköping, Sweden, attracted over 13,000 visitors and was deemed another big success, setting the scene for multiple deals across the industry. For TR Fastenings, the event was extremely useful, as a number of large automotive OEMs and subcontractors were in attendance, giving TR representatives the chance to make new connections and have positive conversations about potential partnerships.
The TR stand at the event showcased a number of TR parts, and was manned by a team including Business Development Manager Anders Peterson, who commented:
“The Elmia Subcontractors fair is a really important event, attracting purchasing managers, engineers and designers from all over the subcontracting industry. The event was a huge success for us and it was great to meet so many new contacts and tell them all about our products and our company.”
